I've had this thing for one day, don't think I'll be taking it off anytime soon. Super soft, a bit on the thinner side so you don't end up overheating, long, slimmer cut and real clean looking. Love the little volcom branding accents - lets everyone know you're wearin the goods without saying it too loudly. Wouldn't say this is a full-on fleece hoody, feels more like a cotton hoody with some poly added to make it softer and a bit more techy. Oh, the 'buttons' on the chest pocket (there are 3 pockets on this thing...) are actually snaps, and the hand pockets are zippered to keep your goodies in place. Get one...
Seriously - stock shoe company insoles suck. Take one out of your skate shoes - i can almost guarantee it offers little-to-no arch support, and very little cushioning. Remind knows that good foot and lower body health (so critical to our impact heavy lifestyle on boards) is key to longevity in the sports, and offers these kickin' replacement insoles. First of all - the graphics are dope! Ok, looks aside, these dont just stick a big lump of plastic under your arch, they are anatomically designed to provide full arch support - helping with proper foot/ankle/knee/hip alignment. Ive tried a few other pairs of insoles from more 'popular' insole brands - and these easily take the cake. I have bad feet/ankles (broken right foot and left ankle) so i really need the right support. I love that the support in these extends across the whole arch - a very 'wide' feeling support that i haven't found in any other insole. As soon as i step into my skate shoes now, my feet don't hurt (they used to a little) they actually feel better! Totally stoked!
Nope, the shovel (and probe) pockets are inside the pack. The back panel you are referencing is a horizontal board carry option. Your board slides in between the back panel and the actual pack. [This packs actually gives you two carry options - notice the straps on the front are for a vertical carry.]
Great trucker hat, Hippy Tree is a really sick California made brand - love the combo wheat/perfect-wave patch on top of corduroy. Perfect for a land-locked surfer like myself - just seeing waves everywhere. I've got a big head, my normal fitted size is 7 5/8ths, and I'm pretty much maxing out this trucker. Any bigger, and it wouldn't sit on my head. - Something to keep in mind.
Stylie as $h$t. I get complements on these bad larrys all the time. Nike knows what's up with skate shoes...the vulc. is burly and has more cushion than most other vulc shoes I've owned. I did have to order a half size up from my normal shoe size. Nike's tend to run a bit small - and these are no exception. The toe box is also a little on the tighter side...good for skating, but not for the wide-footers out there. Overall, great shoe.
I dig these jeans. The slight bit of stretch add just the right amount of comfort, though the legs are wide enough that you dont 'need' it. The dark stone wash is pretty sick (very dark, but still blue-ish). The color/wash is really 'inky' out of the box, but is mellowing out after a couple washes. I've got this feeling that they will break in really nicely as well. They do run true to size, and are just a bit baggier than I expected. Not my favorite jeans (matix still takes the cake), but I'm still stoked on my fresh new pair.
Bought these puppies for my sister recently. When i tried them on, I almost took my gift back for myself...but I'm not that bad of a brother. For the price point, these headphones are top notch.
The drivers are high quality, delivering warm bass and crisp highs. These aren't "bass specific" headphones, aka, they're not blown out with bass, just the right amount in the mix to get your hip-hop fix...
Now, the earpieces are covered with silicone. You heard right, silicone: otherwise popularized by "medical implants". I didn't trust this at first, I expected to be sweating my ears off within 30 seconds of having them on, but the comfort (and lack of sweat) blew me away. Throw these on and its like covering your head in...fake boobs? Either way, its really comfy.
Also, these work great with a beanie, a huge selling point for me. For some reason a lot of headphones don't work too well on top of a hat/beanie in terms of comfort, but these are perfect.
