The lizard king likes his skinnies skinny, and these definitely fit the bill. The fit is very similar to regular K-Skinny jeans but will hug your legs ever so closer. They've also got a fancy dye job and a built in shoe lace. I love 'em because they have that clean dirty look.
Fits like a good casual walk short, not typical cutoffs. The cutoff is simply the style (frayed ends, which are sewn so they won't keep fraying). The colors are awesome, not too bright not too dull. The stretch twill is heavy duty but feels light when you're wearing it.
I usually forget they're on my feet. You won't regret wearing them around town all day like cheaper flip flops. They are designed with vents in the bottom so when you're adventuring in water you won't end up with that mushy feeling below your heels.
The shock design on the bottom not only makes walking around easy on your feet but also removes a lot of weight from this vs the Reef Fanning sandals. The bottle opener is smaller and a bit harder to use effectively but I'd much rather have this sandal for the comfort improvements.
Speed 4/5: This thing hauls pretty good Stability 5/5: The dampening and stiffness power through rough terrain like a dream Control 5/5: Despite that it's a beefier board it's super easy to turn and makes big deep turns.
Overall this is a fun board. I would recommend it especially if your home mountain has lots of open steep terrain. If you're a speed freak like me you won't be disappointed. For something that's similar but a little more snappy/responsive and just a bit less fast/stable take a look at the Raptor.
As for sizing, I'm 5'10" and 170 and I used the 163. This size was spot on, it's made to be a little longer as a freeride/big mountain board.
