Last time I bought a bern muse "helmet" it arrived with a disclaimer saying it was a hard hat, the difference being helmets are made to protect your noggin against an extreme impact but the foam takes the impact so it has to be replaced whereas a hard hat is built for multiple less severe impacts but the foam won't crumble everytime. I want something that will keep my head safe in the event of a severe impact. So, dogfunk gurus or anyone with an authoritative response, will this "helmet" do the job of a helmet?

Before bindings I didn't realise how responsive my board was. I had this crappy pair of Sapient bindings that were too old to be riding. Unions are light, shock-absorbent and help me get so much more out of my board. Toe straps were a bit sticky the first couple of days but are just as smooth as the ankle straps now. So stoked with these!

These boots were comfy from the word go. I spent over two hours in the store trying on millions of brands of boots and funnily enough these were the first pair I tried on and they were the last I walked out with. My first three weekends snowboarding I rented Salomons and out of all the brands (Burton, K2, bla bla bla) Salomon have always been comfy, even in rental boots! So it's no surprise here that these were super comfy. The fur on the inside of the liner spoils me a little too. With my K2 Haven's I could not get rid of pain across the widest part my foot and even on the first day riding these Kianas there was so much less pain than with my Haven's. Now that i'm breaking them in they're only getting better. Thank you Salomon
