I recently upgraded from an iPhone 3 to the iphone 5S. Naturally I wanted to get a case for my new piece of technology that would keep pace with me. Mainly stoked on the waterproof element of this case. While fishing I had this in my pocket totally submerged for about 45 minutes. I didn't realize this until I got a phone call and surprising underwater vibration. Initially I panicked, then quickly calmed down when I pulled the phone out of my pocket and everything was ship shape.
Only one downside as far as I can tell... You have to use a special adapter in order to plug in your headphones. I don't like this for two reasons, 1) You have to keep track of the headphone cord extension or else you'll have no tunes. 2) If your headphones have those hands free talk/music manipulator buttons they will not work when plugged in through the little extension cord that comes with the case. All in all, this is a really small price to pay for keeping your phone safe from water, drops, dust, and all the rest.
