I find the cold dew on the ground after a night in the tent refreshing. As soon as my bare feet hit pebbled ground I am ready for the trails and have forgotten all my worries. I round up Emma (man's best friend Mastiff/Border Collie) and she sniffs out our next trail. We hike and climb until she can drag me no more. Back to camp to re-fuel, eat some mallows, and crash. We do not know what we will see tomorrow, but I know we will not see it unless we get out there.
I normally wear a size 10 or 10.5 depending on the manufacturer. Gave the 10 a shot but they are way too tight. I would definitely buy a size up when purchasing these, otherwise they are a good looking shoe.
