I bought a fixed temperature Dakine tuning iron nearly a decade ago, used, from a local retailer. It still works, but I found that it was smoking quite a few different brands of wax. Bought this, it heats up fast, comfy on the hand, and the heating surface is MUCH bigger than my last iron. Now I just have to find an 850w inverter so I can wax in my Jeep....

Prior to buying this I was using an automotive ice scraper and my student ID to get wax off of my base. This does a good job, but I find myself "sharpening it" with a utility knife every 3-4 uses.

Switched to these from an old pair of Cartels with the capstrap, I instantly noticed more control and support from the highback. Easy to get in and out of on the flats, takes some getting used to on a hill, but still so much faster than my friends.

This is the third pair of Flow Bindings I own, I have an older pair of Flite 3's, a pair of M9's, and these are my favorite. The baseplate cover takes any pressure points out of your stance, they are solid and adjustable....and the white looks gnarly.
