Everything I wanted in a helmet. Light weight, very comfortable, great ventilation, smooth and easy ratchet chin strap. My only complaint, and it's just a minor complaint, is that the color is called "Gray Pinstripe" but the stripes are actually tan and brown. Whatever. I'm taking it to the mountains, not a fashion show. I could see how this might disappoint somebody who cares more than I do about that sort of thing. It still looks cool, it's just not the color it's described as.
The Audex Jacket is a joint venture, with Burton handling the jacket and Motorola handling the electronics. Burton did an amazing job. The jacket is incredibly comfortable, toasty warm, and has pit vents just in case it gets too warm. Plenty of pocket space and it looks great too. If Motorola would have done their part this could have been amazing. As it is, the jacket simply does not do what it claims to. It's moody. Sometimes your iPod will work, sometimes no. Sometimes your phone will work, other times not so much. Connectors don't click securely, and frequently disconnect while riding and have a cheap and flimsy feel. Not what I expected from Motorola. Burton did a hell of a job though. Check around on the internet like I did. You'll see that lots of people experienced these same problems. Looks like Motorola put a garbage product out on the market.
Great bag. It has lots of room to hold my boots and bindings, and a secret inside pocket for my goggles. Protected my gear perfectly from the evil baggage handlers and if you get the Plaid pattern, it'll stand out at the baggage claim area. Great for flights. Nicely padded, sweet to look at, and you can hook a skateboard up to it to make it a rolling bag. Top quality. Lots of bag for the price.
