Love the details. The quality construction is superb. Im 5'11

EDIT: I changed my mind, the medium was far to baggy on me, so I went down to a small. much snugger and more comfortable, no more difficult to get in and out of than the medium. glad I sized down.

Got this just to wear as a casual piece, not realizing it doubles as a base layer on the mountain. Looks great, AND acts as a perfect baselayer. The material is super good quality and the stitching is superb, this one will last a long time.

I could not be more pleased with this boot. Ive waited a long time and held off on a lot of purchases in order to find the perfect boot.

The construction of these boots is superb. The stitching and details are finely crafted and the support structures in the heel and toe really hold the boots shape well. The leather is durable and rugged, but ages well as you break them in. Comfort is great after you break them in.

Not fantastic sole support, but not something I was really interested in for my boots, Id rather insert my own insoles if needed. Other wise the sole of these boots can take a pounding and the treads stay gripped on most any surface. The attachment of the sole to the rest of the boot is solid.

Sizing is where I had some issues. after Initially receiving them, I thought maybe I had picked a half size to large, but realized after wearing them for a while that the toe box is just a little long, and narrows as it extends, which if I had gone down a half a size, would cramp my toes badly. These things run true to size, though at first it doesnt seem it. Give them a chance before you return them for sizing. Mine are comfortable and feel natural now.

Like any good boot, the break in period is a little rough. It took me about a week to fully feel comfortable in these.

With all that said, conclusion is this: a 5 star boot for sure. These will last a LONG time, and only get more comfortable with age.

Im 5'11, 170lbs and usually wear a 32x30 in jeans. ended up in 32x32s and I couldn't be happier. I wound up buying another pair.

Beware, these have a slim cut to them, so they will fit pretty tight compared to normal jeans. there is a tiny sacrifice in comfort for fit, just until they break in properly though. They look good and they cuff well.

I have been on a quest, searching far and wide for the perfect pair of pants to climb in. My journey has come to completion.

These things are bomber, tough fabric that wont rip and tear, but stretchy and forgiving as well for those climbing moves that require your foot to be right next to your face..

i will be grabbing more of these for sure.

I'll start by saying these are my favorite new hiking and climbing pants. I will definitely be ordering more.

The material these are made of is super comfortable, stretchy, and durable. A perfect combo for the likes of climbing. Not sure I need the extra cargo pockets, but I suppose they are handy , they definitely don't hurt. Comes with a little adjustable waist cinch belt for tightening, and button things for rolling up the pant legs and securing them (was not immediately aware thats what they were for..) All in all, the fit and the material make these an amazing climbing essential for me.

My only gripe is small, but I wish the pant legs were a little less wide near the ankles. Thats the only thing I MIGHT change about these.

Got these a few weeks ago, found myself pretty surprised by how large they ran in size, specifically in the pant legs. The waist fits fine. I looked them over and tried them on, and concluded I would never wear them... Fast forward a few days, took them out climbing, and took several whippers and slides on the rock. Not even a scratch on these suckers. These things are the real deal. Comfy and tough. Found myself a permanent set of climbing pants.

Great visibility, easy lens changing, and no fogging problems to date. I have a slight issue with fit (they pinch around the nose for me..) but I dont expect smith to be able to account everyones fit in one pair of goggles.

Great buy.

Just got this helmet to replace one that was to big on my noggin. I matched it with the smith IOs and have had no compatibility issues between the helmet and goggles. Love the fit of this helmet, its unreal how perfect it is. My only complaints are these two: (a) The helmet has ZERO ventilation, ive taken it up on blue-bird days and whiteout days in 10 weather, and my head always ends up overheated. (b) The forehead spot on the helmet is where I normally lift my goggles to when I dont need them on my face, but the curvature of this helmet makes it difficult to keep them there. The latter is less of a big deal, but I would strongly consider a helmet with vents, you WILL sweat in this sucker. Regardless, I still love it.
