I just picked up this Volcom Shoreditch(Nimbus collection) jacket in red XL ordered from dogfunk.com. The colour is deep red, just the way I wanted it. This jacket is quite loose, and a little baggy though it still got a nice sleek look to it due to the the slim design with the pockets on the inside of the jacket. The jacket also has a more sofisticated look to it. I googled "shoreditch" and found out that this is a hip neigbourhood in London. I guess the jacket is ment to be a little trendy european.Comparing the Shoreditch to my previous Volcom jacket, Exclusion 2007/08(also the nimbus collection), the shoreditch has a more loose fit, and is longer, both in the sleeves and in the body. Me like.Looking forward to hitting the slopes with this one on saturday! POW
Had this jacket since march '09. Its been worn alot, and its still in good shape.
It does not hold much rain, nor does it stop the wind, its just a very fresh and stylish jacket. It has a slim fit, im 5' 9'' tall and had size xl.
Wear it skateboarding, hanging around, or whatever. But its not a technical piece.
Recommened for its use.
Had the AT-3 for nearly a year now, must say I'm impressed by quality. Its been a long time since ive had a pair for a whole year. Still in its original shape, the inside heel is a little worn out, but much less than usual for a pair of skateboard shoes. Colors are still sharp, the sole still got its patteren. Chances are you wont see them die, youll just get bored of same old and buy some new pairs in other colors, just like me(just bought my third pair of at-3, alot of colors out there). I havent skated alot in these, but done som reguarly longboarding and the air-system does cool down my feet. They are stabil, snug and good heel support. Love these shoes. Highly recommended.
The Cobra does it all.
Into my second season, still as warm and comfy as first day wearing.
The glove is a must for any outdoors activities (which does not include walking the dog!).
For you doglovers, keep in mind that the glove is made for comfort when in action, which requires that the glove also breathes. This glove breathes perfectly, which again makes it warm and comfy. If you put this on and dont move your hand for 15 minutes, of course your hand will be cold, this is not a handoven, or do you think gloves produces heatfor you?! Well, think again. A winterglove from Dakine is for high intensity outdoor activities.
Tip for making this glove last longer; spend some money on som grease, vazeline, oil or any petrolatum, and rub them in.
Keeps 'em in shape :)
And a last word of truth from a Norwegian: The Cobra does handle effective -40 celcius.
