Just got this jacket in and already love it (5'10'', 170..got the medium. this is the 2nd puffy jacket i've owned). Still haven't taken it out in any inclement weather or tested it on the slopes, but just the functionality for street-wear is great. I read some reviews saying that this jacket is too long, but I disagree. It doesn't have a "park-rat" look at all and the bottom sinches up great for an even shorter look.
Loose feel, but slim look.
The hood is great and even fits over helmet.
Burton's "LINK ZIP" is 100% compatible with volcom's zip technology.
Good, tight fitting powder skirt if you don't have the zip tech.
Great zippers all-around.
The "removable" Face-gaiter is a little awkwardly designed, but we'll see how it works on the mountain with mitts on.
The audio pocket is velcro. Would've liked to see a zipper there.
I'll review once more when I have a chance to challenge it on the mountain.
Wore these shoes while working at Biscayne National Park. On the boat every day and around ocean water. The ocean water made the shoes extremely slippery (inside the shoe) and while the sole supposed to be "non-marking,"it's definitely not. The very bottom of the shoe is, but all the black around the sole is not. Ended up scrubbing marks off the boat every day.
