I love these. They stay in your ears very well, and have a very clear sound. The bass is great, and they are noise canceling. The only thing is you have to be careful with the woven chord or it will fray. I wouldn't recommend having these connected to an iPod in your pocket, because the headphone jack will eventually come apart. The inline mic is very useful, and it's awesome not having to unlock your iPod to change volume or songs.
The waist width of the 158 regular is 29.4 cm, and the waist width of 157 wide is 26.2 cm, so the 158 regular is a bit wider. You should be fine with the 158 regular, I'm fairly certain that Ride's wide boards are made for 11+ boot sizes.
This is an awesome sweatshirt. It is a crew neck sweatshirt, not a sweater. It's sweatshirt material, not knit as the picture would indicate. It is VERY comfortable, although it doesn't do too well in the wind. It has a baggy fit, just below the hip. Great sweatshirt, I get compliments all the time.
I have this board, and I love it. It does makes things easier to learn in the park, and butters and rolls are a breeze. I ride it all mountain, not including back country. I have had trouble with the board chattering and slipping out while carving at high speeds. This board is definitely not made for that. It should be fine all mountain, especially if your girlfriend is just learning.
I LOVE this hoodie. It's really nice in fall/early winter, but would probably be a little chilly during those heavy snow months. I love how the collar comes up really high and keeps my neck and chin warm when it's windy. It has a baggy fit, and is quite long. It goes to about mid thigh on me, and I wear a medium. (Keep in mind I'm a girl.) The jacket does dry quickly, but it's not very water resistant. Walking through rain on the way to class, water definitely soaked through. Overall, it's super comfortable, and definitely worth the buy.
