I got these pants because I need more waterproofing because we are going to move to a place with more powder and more sitting going up.
But I have to admit, compared to the last pants I rode in, these are awesome. They are extremely dry and lightweight when held alongside my old Burtons. They also look a lot more stylish with the boot-cut than my old baggy pair. The season pass spot is easy and it even says "HI" under the flap so I don't need to. But to me, they feel somewhat thin and cool easily by wind, so i advise a layer under these just to feel warm.

Hm, it depends.
I have a Burton board and Burton bindings, but the bindings have a special 3 screw pattern, so they can't be used on other brand of boards, besides Burton, without an adapter plate that you could probably buy at a Burton store or something. But I'm confident that most other brands can be mix-matched together with other brands of boards because they all have a generic 4 screw pattern.
As for boots, any boot can be used with any pair of bindings.
