This hoody is fantastic. I used it as my mid-weight layer for a climb of Mt. Hood as well as a back country hike through Alaska in May. It is amazing, I highly recommend it. It didn't smell after 6 days of wearing it regularly, it never snagged, and it kept the wind out. My only gripe is with the price tag. $160 is really expensive for a fleece and I can't say I would pay that again as I have now seen it on sale at MooseJaw for $80 just a few weeks after I purchased it. If you can get it for $80 it is definitely worth it, $160 is a little steep for a fleece, but then again it says Patagonia on it and that is the big thing with the price tag.
I wear these shoes all the time, not just on approaches. They are sturdy, very cushioned, and true to size. The rubber is very sticky, and you can comfortably climb lower grade climbs in these with ease.
These pants are pretty baggy in the waist and pretty tight in the thighs. There is no stretch to them at all so using them for snowboarding didn't work out so well as they were very restrictive when trying to bend your legs. They kept the water out, and were warm but the fit just wasn't quite right with the thighs vs. waist.
