Only complaint is that the 2 liners are kinda hard to fit in the mitten. I usually just wear one, and they are still plently warm. Also, I have never had any trouble with wet hand even when building a jump or something like that. The Burton AK is a pretty good product line overall.
The total ripper series never fails to impress me. My brother just bought this board, and I stole it last week and took it for a ride on the mountain. All i can say is that once you go BTX you never go back. Such a fun snowboard.
The Pro 2 is awesome! The horizontal snowboard carrier really makes this bag. I hiked alta a little while ago and this bag really made it work for me. It comfortable, not to small, not to big. And has a sick design.
I have the GNU Rider's choice from about 2 years ago. It does not have the BTX but does have the MTX and I love it. I was thinking about getting a new one until I saw the price boost this year. GNU used to be pretty cheap...
I bought BETA MVMT back in 2006. The bindings worked GREAT! They are responsive and very light weight! However, after a year and half of use i bought a new board, and when i took the bindings off i noticed the base plates had been stipped some. (note this was not due to improper mounting) So i thought okay ride will cover it. I call them up and they not only deny me, but they say they can't even ship new ones to me because i live FPO/AP... talk abou bad customer service. So basically the equipment is good just the durability and customer service is questionable. And don't be fooled me the lifetime warranty... major restrictions on getting stuff replaced.
