First off, the boots are more "egg shell" than tan as described...but you could probably already determine that from the picture.
This is my second full season snowboarding so I am by far no expert but I enjoy cruising down the mountain.
I had a piece of junk Sims pair of boots as a starter pair which I could never tighten myself and made my feet throb with pain.
No such problem with these boots! I LOVE THEM! My ice cube feet were warm all day. Great ankle support -- my feet stayed in the boot. They are light, low profile yet supportive. Best of all (my husband agrees) I tightened them all by myself! Easy & quick!
The first day was difficult finding the correct level of tightness for the inner liner and the dual BOAs so I experienced some pain in the learning process but by the second day I figured out the right level for each area and felt comfy, secure, warm and happy.
I highly recommend these boots! :O)
