I live in Jackson Hole, where waterproof snow boots are a necessity. After 14 months of wearing these to/from work (walking on sidewalks and taking the bus) the rubber toe is cracking and they no longer serve their purpose of keeping you dry in 500" winters. In addition to this, the siding of the heel has peeled off (leather overlay on top of plastic), the rubber heel has come apart, and two of the grommets have come off. And sorel, the leading snow boot company, has a 1-year warranty. Do yourself a favor and pick another brand.
I ordered this in medium and it's great, fits true to size. I ordered it in jade and it's just as pictured. The fit is flattering. Sleeves are long and the hood is pretty roomy. Highly recommend.
I'm usually a medium in outdoorsy brands as I'm 5'9". Ordered a M initially. It was a great length until I washed it (washed only, did not dry) and it shrunk up a little. Thanks to Backcountry's AWESOME return policy, I returned the M and ordered a L and it is a great length. As far as a fit, you can't really go wrong since it's elastic and loose fitting. It's a great dress, definitely my new favorite!
I love this bag. It's a fun color and great size. I can fit my laptop in the protective sleeve, or pack clothes for an overnight trip. It's my everyday bag to take to work. Durable, good looking, lots of convenient pockets and whatnot. Definitely a good buy.
Love it! I wore it all winter skiing in Wyoming. I just wore a base layer or t-shirt underneath with a goretex shell on top and always stayed warm enough. I am excited to take this on a camping trip soon because it also folds up into itself and is super light! It's not the most flattering piece of clothing I own, but that's okay. I may exchange it and buy the full-zip version because it looks more flattering, but this is a great, lightweight but warm, and versatile jacket.
I found these to be a great deal. I used them for skiing all winter in Jackson Hole. I mostly used my Northface e-tip liner gloves underneath instead of the ones provided with the mittens, just because I liked those for checking my phone on the lifts. These mittens were great for my purposes, meaning that I feel I got what I paid for. There are some days here when it is just SO cold that my fingers would be cold no matter what. I suppose you could buy some down mittens, but they are just so darn easy to lose that I never felt right investing too much money in mittens or gloves. Anyway, I give them a thumbs up.
