Lets start with the pros: fantastic park/freestyle flex. Gave me a more skatey feel, forgiving, and tweakable.
Here are the cons: horrible ankle pinching. Rode in discomfort for three days. Tried molding the liners, but it still didn't help. Now, I ride with constant ankle pinching. Buyer beware.
I've rode Burton Assaults for two seasons, which fit like a glove. Burton's Warranty department made my experience even worse by rejecting my complaints as disingenuous. Another friend of mine owns these boots and has the same ankle discomfort. He thought it was normal because he rode a pair of uncomfortable boots for 3 seasons.
Hello, How Stiff are these boots? I've been riding Burton Hails, and am wondering how these compare. Thanks!
Love these gloves because they're warm and waterproof. I wore a 2010 pair of these gloves through every kind of condition, and they were great.
However, note that Pow changed the 2012 design. Pow removed the elastic wrist cuff that keeps out pesky snow from slipping into your glove. TERRIBLE move, POW! WHY? Because it saves you that much money?
I still love them for the simple design and warmth. Note, they are leather, so they're not going to get wet. If you're touching the snow a bunch, look elsewhere.
