I'm the go-to tune guy for my friends. These meet my needs. They may not be the last word in stability, but I've never had any problems.

Except for how they fit in the toe box these are the best boots I've ever worn. Had they fit better in the toes I would have kept them. Just the right flex for me, the double BOA is great, and the best heel hold of any boot I've ever worn.

Easily the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. They are not the last word on heel hold on my feet, but buttery soft inside.

i haven't had much of a chance to ride these yet (season ending back injury) so i'll give my first impressions and fill in the blanks at a later date. first, they are more comfortable that my old burton cartels. the toe strap also does a nice job of pulling the heels towards the back of the heel cup. once your foot is in, it is in. the buckles seem a little stiff, but they always lock and may break in. the only think i don't like so far is that the buckles put pressure on my little toe. there may be a way to adjust for this, but i haven't had the chance. more later....

i have no idea how these perform since they were so tight (xl) that i had to send them back. i recommend ordering alt least one size up.

The fit of the glove is great. They are very wind proof. They do !!!not!!! have any water proofing. I was able to keep my hands warm in -8 Celsius shoveling snow in Toronto. I was not able to keep my hands warm putting on chains in 32 Fahrenheit Big Bear. My hands were dry in Toronto, but wet in big bear. If you are looking for something to keep your hands warm from wind, these are great. If you are looking to keep your hands dry, get something else.

these aren't quite perfect yet. when i was a kid we bomb empty pools (there was drought in ca at the time - but isn't there almost always?) and i took a different version of these along for the ride. actually, i wish i had worn them more. that version had straps that were much, much less elastic and they offered more protection. these fit me well, but i always feel like i need the strap tighter and less mobile that this elastic version will go. the flexibility does offer more options for hand plants, but i like the security of a tighter strap. still, i bought them since nothing will end a sess' faster than a broken wrist anywhere on the mountain, park, pipe or street. these help when learning new or big tricks. recommended for safety alone.

you can fit more than two boards in this without bindings plus still have room for gear. i've had no problems whatsoever in two seasons except a little wear on the bottom. ya' hear that, baggage handlers, yer' dinging my gear!

forum's site calls this an all mountain freestyle board. for me it is too stiff for rails and boxes, but it takes big kickers with ease and it rides powder ok since the board's side cut is a few cm off of centered. i have the '08 version, which is a little heavy, but i've read that the '09 version is much lighter. wax this one !well! or it won't be as fast as it can be.

i do emergency services work for the state from time to time and these are the same goggles designed for that purpose. they meet all the safety specifications for impact resistance and other standards. there are many color options for fan-boys and hipsters to get your steez on, and many lens options for any riding conditions. i've never had the inner lens fog up. they are comfortable with or without a helmet

i've replaced three boards in the time i've had mine and, while the boards have taken some abuse the bindings sill ride relatively well. there are enough adjustments to make them stiffer on the mountain and looser in the park. i'd like burton to add more shock absorption material in the base plate for the big jumps (the four hole disc isn't fully padded, but the three hole version is), but might buy these again. the new toe and heel straps do make the bindings more comfortable, and are a solid upgrade over last years model. i have broken the highback, however. the living hinge ripped right out of the plastic. unfortunately, burton didn't have any exact replacements for the highback (i ordered a funky color from another year). i would have liked these bindings to take more of a beating, but still a decent product.

is it possible to call socks "best ever"? they're socks after all. i have some burton socks i've always worn since they do their job well, but i like these better.

the fit was very good, but these gloves didn't make it past the first day. on a day with wet snow and strong winds these gloves were soaked by lunch. the lanyards also didn't make it to the end of the day, having torn off at the cuff. the liners appear to be well made, but they hold water, too. i've had much better luck with dakine gloves, particularly the goretex ones.

did i mention that the palm blew out after half a session hitting jumps in the park?
