I'm not a doctor but I did unfortunately break my shoulder on a failed landing so I've researched the issue a bit: short answer is- no, this won't help.
There's some padding on the collar bone area but collar bones usually don't break from direct impact in ski/snowboard accidents. What usually happens is that huge forces that are carried from the shoulder or arm after a fall can't dissipate and as a result, the collar bone snaps.
As far as I can see, the only type of shield that can give your collar bone (and my shoulder) some kind of extra protection is a piece of gear with integrated shoulder cups that may disperse the energy of a fall. Have a look at the Demon Snow Hyper Vest D3o Body Armor or something similar.

Just like others have written here, the Custom X is a FAST board. I clocked it at over 55 MPH in Austria. It's pretty stiff and responds very sharply. It's def. not for beginners. It's perfect for flying down the mountain, piste or off piste.Great for big kickers. For buttering and other freestyle, you want a softer board.
I use it with Cartel bindings and the combo is super.

I'm using the holt with my Dragon Mace goggles.
Works great. No gap.
Good fixed ventilation and best of all- a low profile.
who wants to look like a bubble head?

No fogging problems, looks great, the ionized lenses are great on sunny days but also pretty good on flat light (the inside lens is amber).
I have a Smith Holt helmet and there's no goggle gap at all.
