I liked this coat - I do not think it makes you look 'fat' as another review posted. I mean, its a coat, and its pretty sweet. I wear a runners zip up underneath, its lightweight but perfect for 30-45 degree weather. The hood is a little silly, but I wear a hat anyways. I like Burton gear, its top notch, and for the price this coat is awesome. Highly recommend for a cheap new jacket.
Well, the pants were not long enough for me - but most aren't - I have a 34 inch inseam. However, these pants look a lot like leather when in the right lighting - not a good feature in my opinion. Otherwise, they are a typical Roxy fit - just not near the length I needed. Waist sizing was right on though, and the pants seemed decent for boarding in slushy midwest weather.
Well, after trying on 10 pairs of pants -from Burton, Roxy, 686...I found a keeper. (I am a size 6/8 with 34 inseam) I loved how these fit, even though the pattern is a little crazy. I reccommend going up a size, I know I didnt want to, but the length DID increase, and the waist can be cinched tighter. The pants are excellent quality for the price. I love em, and I can't wait to hit Breck in a few weeks!
So people say 686 pants run long. Let me tell you...these were the highest highwaters I've tried on yet! Do not waste your time if you are typically a size 6 with inseam great than 30. I ordered Mediums, I'm a size 6 with 35 inseam, and these were 6 inches off the ground withOUT my boots on. But if you're really short, these pants are pretty hot and they feel OK.
