These are so warm, on 30f+ days I wish I had a "normal" pair of mitts. When I shake hands with peeps on the pass, they comment on how warm my hands are. The leather palms are fantastic, will be hard to go back to synthetics for my warm weather gloves.
Review of the 07 Shaun White branded version of this helmet.
Solid helmet, horrible audio components. I started with the Red Shaun White and added the audio kit. Lasted about a day before the connection started flaking out. Audio pads were also very hard on the ears - minimal padding. When the audio worked, it was comparable to $15 headphones - not bad, not great.
Fit was very good on my head - was the only comfy XL I could find.
I have the C60 from a few seasons baack; aka non-EST.
Coming from the Cartels I wasn't expecting much. These are by far the stiffest bindings I've ever owned - the upgrade from Cartels is palpable. Response is fantastic, this gave me the extra confidence to b-line longer and over more difficult terrain. At the same time the comfort is improved, I find I can ride longer with these since my foot isn't flexing with the baseplate.
Bought this for a 10 day backpack trip through Japan. I was able to carry it on, but the length is pushing it. The top flap is great, giving easy access to the map pass. Lots of small pockets to squirrel things away. Back flap access is brilliant, but the top access leaves something to be desired - it tends to flop around when loading or digging (this seems to be standard for chimney style packs). All in all, this is a great pack for travel. Has plenty of straps to balance and compress, carries weight very well and its Dakine so you know it'll last.
What't the fit like on these? My wife is looking for the classic baggy fit (I think the mens has Team Fit, for baggy look). What's the waist width like for M/L? What about pant leg width, and sleeve length?
Last womens coat I got her online ran a little short, but she still loves it around town.
