I have Burton Cartels, pretty nice although I'm thinking the mediums are slightly too roomy for my size 8 boot (Burton Ions). I bought the Union Atlas after reading the review on TheGoodRide.com. I am very happy. I got the size small and the fit seems perfect for my boots. I rode the Atlas 6 days straight at Whistler and they were really, really nice. Mostly on a Jones Mountain Twin (great combo) but also had one day on a Custom X (channel board, used $10 conversion kit). Regardless of board, these bindings felt great. I had heard the toe ratchet was always sticky on Unions and that the toe strap was no good. I must disagree - if you can't operate the toe ratchet you must be mentally challenged. And, using the traditional "on top" position for the toe strap the fit was secure and stayed put all day. In short, these have replaced my Cartels (which were just fine btw) and I highly recommend the Atlas.

These are great. The ventilation thing on both sides works great when you need to cool down. The material seems thicker on these than on the 3 L Hover that I checked out in the store. Pockets and features are great and they definitely keep you dry, even wading through thigh deep snow after getting caught in the flats. Get em!

I like this pack. Fits well and don't notice it while riding. Board carry system is good for walking to the lift. Ample size to stash gear/food for a days riding without stopping. Recommended.

I bought these expecting the sound would likely be a bit 'tinny' - totally wrong. The sound is excellent and way more comfortable for all day use than sticking earbuds under your helmet. I paired these with a $19 mini amplifier (Fiio e5) and this provides more than enough volume to drown out wind noise while riding. Also, I use a Smith Holt helmet and found these to be compatible after removing a small amount of foam padding from the ear-covers in the helmet. The final set up is BOSS - blasting Digweed all day while cruising the hill.
