And the regular Anasazi VCS has this really baggy heel. Not only that, but when I get it nice and tight, the top of the shoe digs into my ankle at the sides and back. I get blisters or rashes after a session. I tried these on and they fit great. They still have the edging anasazi's are known for and are a great do-it-all shoe. Those who want a more specific shoe for steep routes, look into the Muira or Solution which fit my feet well too. I suppose I could take a star down for the color, but in the end, who cares as long as they feel great (and at least they're not light purple anymore).
How much do these shoes weigh? comparable to the eras? Lighter?
They do fit under gloves, although it's a little tight. I think the only way it could be better is if it's got a brace on the other side of the wrist. Never snap your wrist on a jump again.
Great gloves. In Cali, it's usually too warm to use the inside glove but I get a free pair of liners for morning drives.
Has lots of thoughtful features: Glove vent, wide pull tab to open wrist cinch and tab to open back of the gauntlet so you can grab it with gloves on, glove keepers so you won't accidentally drop one off the lift.
I usually wear a med glove, also measures 7.5in from wrist to tip of middle finger. M/L was too short. L/XL fits perfect.
