Is this board pretty catch free? How far do the tips come off the ground?
Can you special order the xs size?
I am trying to decide between these and the Union Contact Pro's. Which is better for all mountain riding and riding in the trees?
I have owned several other brands of goggles and this one is my favorite. I actually returned the i/os for the regular size i/o because they fit better with my face gaurd in snowstorms. I love the trees and these saved my eyes from being literally poked out, I hit them on several branches sticking out (some very hard) and I only have a couple of scratches after a full season and I can't see them when I put the goggles on. I had the ignitor mirror lens which does great in low/flat light but during blue bird days I wish I had a darker lens. I think they should make more lens options available because I didn't even use the sensor lens it was too light and would be good for night boarding. If I could make my own package I would have got the ignitor mirror lens with the darker mirror lens.
This was my first rocker reverse camber board and I loved it. It is a very fun board and does not catch edge easy or hardly at all. I was surprised how well it did in the powder even though I am 5'10" riding a 154, I just set back the bindings a little and charged through the powder. My only complaint was at high speeds it can get a bit chattery so my next lib tech will be between 159-161.
I love this bib, I snowboarded all season in Utah and I never got my back wet or snow down my pants. I boarded through 40 plus inches of fresh pow and never had to even zip my jacket to my bib to keep the snow out. They breathe well, I wore them all season even in April and zipper vents work wonders. I will never go back to pants again.
