When the I/O series first came out I couldn't stand the look of them, but over time the look has grown on me. When I lost my pair of yellow tinted googles I decided to take the plunge and buy a set with interchangeable lenses. It came down to the I/O X and airbrake, and after borrowing some from friends I decided on the I/O X because they were a slightly bigger fit, and came with lens tint options that I thought would be better for my normal conditions. So far I am happy with the googles, however I feel like the field of vision is slightly less than on my previous Oakley Crowbars...that being said its not really an issue, just something I notice a bit when I'm sitting on the chairlift, but not when I'm heading down the mountain. I would buy this again, especially if I can find it on sale at end of season.

They are not noise cancelling headphones, so they won't 'cancel' the noise out by producing opposite sound waves, like some of the Beats and Bose headphones do. They will slightly reduce exterior noise by covering your ear but you will still hear everything from the person next to you or the noise of traffic as you walk down the street.
