super light weight so easy to find room in the pack. Great light weight shell for Winter Backpacking and early spring/late summer alpine hiking in New England. not really much at all in the way of venting and the leg cuff opening isnt very big (zips only to ankle). Would love if they made a full zip version but for now Ill keep my Precip Fullzip pants around for Emergency rain shells.
super light weight but will prob return because it doesnt have underarm zips
being that its a Pro Shell and not Paclite, how packable would you say this Jacket is? I know that its lighter than the Minimalist, but is it bulkier in a pack?
what is the center back length on this for the XL? also, should I size up to get the hood over a Ski helmet?
Comfy, good fit for layering, not the most waterproof pant but do just fine for a day on the slopes. If you are back-country skiing/boarding Id recommend something with a high WP rating but for the Price I cant think of anything better. Wish they made skier versions of these with the re-enforced inner ankle panels so my skis wouldn't chew them up. But thats not the gears fault.
The Grass color is AWESOME
The M3 fabric is unbelievable for windproofing, light rain/drizzle it stands up perfectly.
only gripe is that the sleeves are wicked long, while the chest seems a size down.
makes sizing an issue
Would look elsewhere at the price.
wow these pants are super comfortable, super sharp looking, and they came 3 days after ORDERING. shipping time was 2 days, unbelievably fast. I know the pants are all but sold out, but I recommend this website for any Ski/Snowboard purchase.
