i love these goggles. i have a pair of wisdoms that i have used previously, and although they were great without a helmet they didnt fit well when i wore my helmet (which tends to be more and more frequent). the crowbars fit perfectly with my helmet and the yellow lenses work fantastically for night time riding! i would recommend these to anyone, especially if you can find them discounted on steepandcheap or whiskeymilitia.
i had a pair of burton gore-tex gloves before i bought these, and it appears as though they made a few slight (but critical, for me) changes. the one change that really irked me was that the gauntlet is shorter by an inch or so. with my old pair i never had to worry about getting snow into my sleeves/gloves once in cinched them down. with the new pair (with the shorter gauntlet) ive noticed that after a while the glove will slip off my sleeve just enough to allow some moisture into my sleeve. its not a deal breaker, but pretty frustrating since i dont see the benefit in shortening the gauntlet, and definitely see the problems.
other than that, the gloves are great. they are really warm, and i cant say that ive ever needed the liners (even while out in near sub-zero temps). on the other hand, the liners have been really useful off-mountain as a light glove when i dont need much to keep warm.
