This is a very adjustable binding. My favorite feature is the cant system which is easy to set-up. Highbacks are well designed and comfortable. Solid connection to board. Straps seem a little narrow and underpadded. It is however pretty complex and the parts seem slightly underdesigned . Some things take some muscle to align while adjusting. Overall though, once it is set up, I am liking it. If you want cant and a binding with tons of ajustabllity, I can recommend this binding.
I am a big mountain rider and am on the steeps or powercarving on the groomers. So I have no idea how these work for the jib crowd.
Been using this for over a month now. It is not as 'Hulky' as many pressure suits but has excellent protection of back, shoulders, upper and lower arms and ribs (which many pressure suits dont protect). It also functions well as a mid layer.
Worn alone this is pretty disco with the graphics, but it easily wears under a jacket or fleece layer. The 3D0 padding is nice in that it flexes and moves well, but will stiffen on impact. I own two other pressure suits for dirt biking and this one seems perfect for skiing, biking, or snowmobiling with good protection but not as bulky as the typical pressure suit. When matched with the padded shorts and quality knee braces/guards you have some serious protection with little bulk and great freedom of movement.
At the speeds everyone is going now with the new gear, seems like low key body armor is the future.
