This is my favorite board. I am riding the 158, I'm 5'9" 185 lbs. I ride this all over the mountain. It take anything you put it through. I love the lifted nose, and with the camber underfoot, It's my favorite.
My son rides these bindings and loves them. He is 13 yrs. old and these bindings really help him advance his riding. He loves the ratchets and the cushy footbeds.
These bindings are definately worth the extra money. These come with two footbeds, one is 2.5 wedgie and the other is a 4.0. I stuck with the 2.5 because I ride with a narrower stance 21". The highbacks are really sweet, they seem really flexy, but when you lay down a heelside carve they really keep you locked in. The ankle staps are awesome too, I love the thin ankle strap these have. These look yellow in the pics, but they are actually LIME Green. Very comfortable bindings. Definately worth the extra cost.
I have tried on a-lot of boots this year from almost all brands out there. These are so comfortable out of the box. I tried this years' TM Two's and Lashed. These JP's feel so much more comfortable than the two I mentioned. I think the flex rating is off. I beleive there are softer than a 5 on Thirty Two's scale. I honestly beleive these have a wider toe box than the other 32 boots. Which is good for me. Give these a try, you won't regret it.
I have not used them on the mountain yet. The toe strap is very nice and grippy. The ratchets are super smooth. I can't wait to actually use these. The canted footbeds are very comfortable.
These are the lightest bindings I have ever seen. I 've had Burton's, Ride, Flows, Rome bindings and these are by far the lightest. They look better in person than photos. Haven't used them yet, but can't wait. I bought these in size Large and my K2 Maysis size 9.5 boot fit them perfectly.
