I have a men's Airblaster Freedom Suit in M from a couple of years ago and loved the length and butt-zip. When I saw they made a women's suit I was excited and ordered an XL as I knew airblaster tends to run short and small. (I'm 5'9" and 155lbs)

The cut was worse than the mens! Not only was the inseam a good 6 inches shorter than the men's, the legs were narrower and the body was boxier. My boyfriend hit it head on when he said it looked like they sewed a men's jacket onto a women's pant.

Get the men's suit if you want one that fits like it should. As for me, I'm sending this back and keeping my men's suit until it falls apart at the seams.

Yes it would. This particular Stria was the first one Burton made and was significantly stiffer than later models. That said, it is a super fun, poppy, responsive twin board with good hold on ice. It does really well at high speeds and is fun in the park. I can't speak for how it does in pow because I have not really tried it in the pow. I would get the 149 if I were you.
