nightstalker blue, yellow, and clear are the best for nighttime riding. Rose, clear ohrome orange, and yellow chrome would do pretty well at night . aside from these, the rest would be optimal for sun/ partly cloudy conditions.

Actually they're both made from DUPONT Zytel nylon so i dunno what mic is talkin about. Forces are great do it all binding and the contacts are good but excel in the park and jibbing.
The chrome lens won't work that well at night since the chrome finish is made to block/reflect light so it would have the same effect toward the lights that light up the mountain. You would have to get a second lens (rose, yellow, blue, or clear) ex-nay the chrome.
is there a way to set the watch to military time?
no not too big. i would say 158 give or take a size would be a good starting point. if you want to go a smaller size for specific riding needs look into a wide option board or if anything, experiment setting your bindings in a way that would reduce toe/heel drag.
