i just got these and love them. its my second pair of triads and i dont think i'll ever buy anything other than triads. they are so comfortable its crazy. theres so much cushion that jump landings are smooth no matter what. i've landed sideways right on the knuckle and still rode away fine.the response is awesome too, never had any complaints about these bindings. i got the Green Machine and its actually more of a neon green and they look sick.
so i just got this board and after one day of riding i have to say its hands down the best board i have every owned! its super light and has tons of pop. spinning is effortless with the quantum and its super stable/forgiving on landings. the flex is perfect, i got the 155 and it presses/butters better and easier than my 52 burton love. it shines in the park but kills it on trails too, lightning fast, responsive, and stable. the graphics are killer too, theres a sick brass knuckles inlay on the base at the nose. if you want a board to kill the entire mountain, like boosting off big booters, and always game for a stylish jib session...the quantum is for you.
i dont know what the guy above me is talking about with the base. theres no grooves, theres a kinda texture like a rippled chip but tiny, nothing thats gonna make a difference in your riding tho. i think its just the style base flow uses. theres nothing on the site about "magic grooves" or anything.
i have to give props to dogfunk too. i bought it and the price dropped before it was delivered and they refunded me the difference!
