I haven't field tested this yet with my GoPro and Contour, but I put it on my bike (fork and handle bar) and it feels SUPER solid and its much much easier to put on and take off.
At first it doesn't seem like you could pull it tight enough to make it not slip, but it does.
Will try and follow up with a review after some trail riding.
(you do have to have the tripod adapter for your GoPro to use this)
The sound it pretty good, but the base isn't quit what I was hoping for. When you turn it on it makes this rumbly noise with lots of base so it seems like it could produce some serious thump, but the sound gets fuzzy when I turn it up. I do like that I can charge my iphone or ipod. I can see the light and dry bag coming in handy too as I'll take the Bravern with me when doing trail work. I've also used it as a speaker phone and it worked awesome!
I actually bought this to use with my GoPro so that I could quickly mount it to various spots on my mtnbike. Figured if it could hold the speaker it could hold a GoPro. You do have to have the tri-pod mount for the GoPro. I haven't bombed down a hill yet with it, but it'll fit around a Fox 32 fork with no problem.
