Couldn't be more stoked about this board, in shopping for a new deck I tried out Burtons, Rides, and Lib Techs (including skate banana and T Rice) and none of them brought the total package like the Coda.
Its flexible enough to butter spins and surf the deepest pow (reverse camber helps as well), yet still sturdy enough to keep control at high speeds. The grip tech works great and the extra contact points at toe and heel are positioned perfectly. The huge amount of pop provided by the bamboo core was immediately noticeable and turns every little lip into a park kicker.
Overall a fantastic quiver killer, a perfect balance between flex, speed and control. Not to mention a sick graphic. If you have the means, I highly recommend it.
Bought these for a non-Burton board. Flexible yet still very supportive, and rachets are a breeze to get in and out of. Great bindings for aggressive riding except:
My only complaint is the bindings tend to loosen from the board after every few days of use, I've missed out on more than a few pow turns trying to find a screwdriver. A pocket tool is absolutely necessary with these bindings for mid run tightening.
