I've been wearing the same pair of these since I started riding in 2000 and I've never had a single problem with them. They have fogged on my maybe 3 times since then and that was in the absolute worst conditions (there were very few of us on the mountain it was that bad). They aren't bulky at all, super comfy (and I've tried on so many goggles over the past 10 years just trying to see if anyone comes close, none do) great venting, and durable (10 years is a pretty good run for a set of goggles i think).
You can do pretty much everything with this board, as I have been doing just that this past week, but it's more comfortable in the pow than it is in the park. It'll do fine on groomers as well, but if you're going to stick to groomers and the park, go for either the blunt or try one of the other lib/gnu boards.
I have been riding this at Heavenly this past week through mostly pow tree runs and a little bit in the park and on some groomers and it's been so good on everything!
I'm coming off an 00-01 Forum, so this is like a dream come true for me...this thing handles so well between the magnetraction and "hybrid" camber, I couldn't imagine going back to my old board...or a regular camber board period!
I can't even describe the way it inspires confidence...hard to catch an edge because of the banana, but stable and poppy when you need it...just amazing!
These are pretty nice bindings, even if they feel "loose" compared to regular strap bindings. They go on easy once you have them set up correctly (which is a bit of a pain to do , but again, once it's done, then they're awesome!). like anything, they have their advantages and disadvantages, but I like them quite a bit and will most likely stick with them when i need to replace my current flows!
I know everyone has a different shaped head, but for me, this bad boy fits me so well I barely know it's there when I'm on the mountain. It's warm, comfy, and I'm sure if I ever hit my head it'll do a fine job protecting my head.
My A-frames fit well with this helmet and the "gasket" does a good job of keeping everything warm and together.
