Ride it all without the need for a quiver of bindings.
The Raiden Blackhawk Snowboard Binding rips steep powder chutes, stomps the hell out of a backcountry booter, butters rails, and tears up a pipe all in the same day. Thanks to the combination of fiber-reinforced nylon and aluminum construction, these Raiden bindings provide serious edge control without sacrificing end-to-end flex. The leather-reinforced Control Cut straps dish out plush comfort while holding your boots securely in place for zero slop.

If you ride 50+
Alright so I rode these all season and had to get them sent back to the manufacturer after 5 trips back to my local shop to replace heel cup screws that would fall off. Don't get me wrong these are some of the most responsive bindings I have ever ridden but the heel cup screws and also the hooks on the side rails that go into the bass on the front left and right of the bindings sucked. Out of 4 side rails 1 didn't snap. So if you plan on riding hard in the park 50+ day minimum I'd be careful. My friend also got these... his had to be sent back too same reason.
These bindings are great. The metal composite construction give the support and control bigger guys need. The rachet system is very sturdy and makes it easy to put on and realease the bindings. These binidngs sure beat the flimsy plastic binding construction you find in other bindings that are out there.
The Best Raiden Binding
This is by far the best Raiden binding. It is an amazing all around binding, for those how like a mid/solid flexing binding. I ride this binding all the time, wheather in the park/pipe or Pow. its a real solid product. i recomend it to the max
whats the deal with the base-plate and...
whats the deal with the base-plate and screw situation? i think i saw some radiens in a store and it only had like one hole to screw a nut in and is that true? or does it come with different plates so you can set up the board as best you want. I'd look into these bindings cuz i want them to go on a K2 weapon rocker but not sure if they'll be able to fit/ screw into the board i want accurately.
it will work, raiden uses 4 hole plates...im guessing the baseplate was covered with a foam plate for comfort
I bought this binding in a large because i have a size 28 boot in the Mondo size, but i had to return it because it was too big. On Nitro's website it says that the large is for boot sizes 28.5-32, while the sizing here says it is 28+. Also, the Medium is 25.5-29 on Nitro's website and here it says 26-28. I would go with Nitro's sizing, it is more accurate. I now have a Medium and it fits my Team TLS boots perfectly. Great binding though!!
everyday freestyle binder
this binding is an awesome binding for all you freestyle riders out there that want a responsive binder that will hold up to everything that you can give it.... this binding has it all, a super comfy heel strap, a revert toe strap, so you can ride it any way you want, and aluminum ratchets.... it also has a combo baseplate, so you have an aluminum heel cup for response toe to heel and a nylon baseplate for side to side flex and dampening.... this binding also comes with a more responsive highback and an adjustable heel cup for a custom fit.... this binding is the perfect binding for that local shredder that spends 100+ days on the mountain and wants a binding that will last with him..... not to mention this binding has a 2 year warranty... what else would you want.....
