Uncomfortable helmets suck.
Tired of rocking helmets designed for dudes? The RED Women's Aletta Helmet gives female rippers the features and fit they deserve. Slide the MC2 Mechanical Fit system to adjust the liner's circumference for a dialed, snug fit without slop. This system ensures the Aletta snowboard helmet won't end up over your eyes after a ragdoll crash in the powder. Getting hot or cold? One touch of an external lever adjusts the ventilation system to your preference. RED gave this women's helmet a removable goggle gasket to eliminate the gaper gap and an ultra-quick Zip Clip ratchet, so you can adjust the chin strap tightness quickly and easily. Last but not least, the Aletta Helmet's ultra light In-Mold liner soaks up impact in the event of a nasty fall. - Fall 2008.

warm comfy helmet
helmet is true to size. super warm and cozy. wore a thin hat under it on a really cold day, but otherwise no hat was necessary. color of the backcountry.com photo is definitely way off. other reviews are right, some kind of a limey pea green color. much lighter than it looks. ratcheting chin strap is super easy to use, even with mitts on!
Like the other reviewer says, this helmet is definitely not olive but it's not lime green either, it's more like a medium pea green with lime green on the strap and earpads. Cute but yes, a bit bright! It's warm and fits great if you wear an XS in other RED helmets. Fits fine by itself or over a helmet liner too. I love it.
Great fit but color is way off
Really warm and fits well, but the color is wayyyy off its more like a lime green! I am definately easy to spot on the mountain.
I was going to place an order, but yesterday...
I was going to place an order, but yesterday the helmet was a 30% sale price, not 20%. Do you change your prices daily??
