In the DEFY Kid's JELLO helmet
Defy helmet is on the right. Great for tiny heads and mini-shredders.
Especially sleek design to avoid looking like you are the parent of a moving bobble-head.
Works for me!
- Gender: Female
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I am a smaller gal with a pea sized brain bucket (bout 21 inches in circumference).
I had previously used the Aletta helmet by R.E.D. in the XS size. However, with R.E.D's upgrade to the Air Band fit that women's model in the XS no longer fit. Sad Day.
I've tried multiple brands, POC, Giro, Smith, Oakley and none of the adult/women's helmets will fit.
I knew I had to get a kid's brain bucket and I knew it would be embarrassing to be sporting Sponge Bob on the hill. Enter the R.E.D. Kid's Defy Helmet.
This is a GREAT option for ladies with tiny heads. It doesn't "look" like a kid's helmet, it has a sleek profile and a comfy fit as well as acceptable color choices. I just love it in the JELLO color. This helmet is lightweight and the brim is a great size for propping your goggles off your face.
The only drawback is that this is certainly not the most ventilated option out there. I run on the cooler side, so that's never an issue for me. If you are a wet and wild one, this may not be a great choice since the vents are so small.
Also, the price is great!
I went with the size L and it fits perfectly.
