Don’t be caught being stupid; wear the Red Wrist Guard.

Don't take the Wrisk.
Very stable pads that provide a lot of protection, and they're fairly low-profile so you shouldn't have any issues fitting them under gloves. I bought these puppies after I received a bad wrist sprain from dodging a gaper going mach 3, now they're standard equipment for my riding adventures and I don't even notice them. My only gripe with them is the Velcro rips up my expensive thermals, but I'd rather have that as opposed to a life long wrist injury. Think of all the things you need your wrists for... Highly recommended.
