Protecting your head, salvaging your style.
The reason why so many riders do not wear helmets is that too often they're bulky, lame-looking, and make you feel like you're balancing an oversized bowl of fruits and vegetables on your head. Enter the RED Mutiny Helmet. The Mutiny Helmet is RED's lowest-profile helmet and features a skate-style look and feel. All goggle types fit seamlessly and stay un-fogged when resting under the front brim and any gaper gap is eliminated by the removable Goggle Gasket. Staying cool is easy with Airvanced Ventilation unique hidden vent design.
- Removable ear pads and goggle clip for easy washing and multi-season usage
- Undercovered design means you can dial in the helmet’s fit to accommodate a beanie and goggles underneath
- ABS Injected shell construction for added durability
- Compatible with REDphones Audio headphone (sold separately) for listening to bluegrass, rap, top 40, and other types of music

does the oakley splice goggle fit good...
does the oakley splice goggle fit good with this helmet? i am a girl and am wondering if this is gonna fit me funny cuz its not a womens helmet to. i am a medium but i like to wear a beanie sometimes.
The mutiny is an awesome helmet. Really quite comfortable when wearing for an extended period of time and definitely my favorite brand to ride in altogether. One thing that appears to have change from previous years models would be the sizing. Would recommend possibly going up a size to accommodate the size changes made this year. Usually a medium and had to go with a large as it just sat a bit high on the head and was a bit snug in the temples. Overall though some great helmet just a variation in the colors available and size.
I never used a helmut until now. I have always looked at helmuts as heavy ear sores. As i have recently started doing more advnce tricks, it was time to protect my head. I looked around for ages, then i finally found this bad boy. It looks cool and is ultra light. I have not even worried about the RED headphones, as all the reviews are saying poor quality.
Fits nice with dragon mace
I tried on so many helmets this past New Years weekend at Whistler and none of them fit as well as the Mutiny, unless they were at least $50 more expensive and had an adjustment wheel.
All weekend at Whistler my ears stayed warm in the -10 to -2 degree weather without a beanie. Also saved me from a for-sure concussion once!
Fits well with my Electric EG1 goggles. Probably fits well with most goggles because of the little flap that hangs down on the forehead (out of sight) and negates the wind gap.
Only thing is that when I take the goggles off my eyes and put them on the front of the helmet, sometimes they slide off because they are too high. They don't go lower because of the brim, though. Not really a problem. Recommend this helmet.

Sick Lid, fits true to size, vents works well, RED just needs to do something about their audio, it blows!
