I have Pro-Tec hard shell with soft covering knee pads right now and find them kind of in the way, so I'm looking for some softer options. I usually ride in the park and some small kickers. Will this be nough to protect my knees? Does it feel soft?

Any protection layer is going to protect your knees and shinsfrom getting busted up. These work perfectly. You can run them over your baselayer or under it is up to your personal preference. These are awesome.

the Tech Specs say these will protect your shins as well as knees, is that right?

Responded on

It protects just the top of your shins... usually boots go up high enough to protect the bottom of your shin. Definitely solidly protects your knees!
