Visual and land more tricks with the confidence of the Total Impact Short.

Commit with no regret when you put on the RED Women’s Total Impact Short before you head up to the mountain. Drop into the halfpipe without hesitation while wearing this base layer short’s CE Certified d3o Flo Impact material covering your hips. The lightweight d3o Flo Impact Technology is soft and flexible while worn but absorbs the force of quick falls onto hard park snow. With breathable mesh foam covering your thighs and tailbone, the big kicker looks a little less terrifying, and with a true women’s specific fit and elastic waistband holding the short up, you feel solid from the run-in through the landing.

I give it 5 stars..

The Red Total Impact Shorts saved a novice snowboarder, alot of bumps and bruised.. The constant falling I endured was tolerable.

Disappointed

After taking my first snowboarding lesson and feeling the tailbone pain, a friend suggested impact shorts. I was excited for these based on the d30 technology, but was disappointed. The tailbone coverage was relatively small and didn't fully cover the area of my tailbone that needed the most coverage. Combined with the fact that the pads are hard, which I realize is part of the technology but nonetheless, didn't exactly leave me feeling comforted. I ended up buying a pair of Pro-Tec impact shorts and after trying both pairs on, I went with the Pro-Tec (have since used them multiple times and they're great BTW, and nearly half the cost). I ended up returning the Red Impact Shorts.

Not too bulky

Got these in anticipation for my first time snowboarding in over a decade. Not only did they protect all the vital spots for bruising, they kept me nice an warm. Waist was comfortable and did not dig in. They did not make me feel huge or bulky in my boarding pants. Worth it!
