The beautiful textiles on the Reef Women's Tropic Shoe are handwoven in Guatemala as part of Reef's initiative to help preserve cultural art forms. For this project, Reef partnered up with the nonprofit organization, Nest, to help preserve the Guatemalan tradition of weaving. The result is this fabulously comfortable slip-on shoe with exquisite handwoven detail for you to sport around town.
- Cotton canvas upper features hand-woven textiles from Guatemala
- Internal suede heel patch and elastic provides comfort

comfy but wrong size

these shoes are so cushiony! it's not thin like other flats, where you can feel the ground when you're walking. i'm usually a 7 or 7.5. in reef brand slippers (flip flops) i'm usually an 8 so i went for the 7.5 and it's too big- my heel pops out when i walk. returning for a 7. i wish it came in more colors, i could use a solid black or a leopard print. ;)
