Description

Be done with traditional laces.

The Ride Anthem Boa Snowboard Boot combines twist-and-go convenience with a moderate flex that's perfect for pushing your limits on any terrain. Believe it or not you don't have to lose all your toenails this year to get every inch of performance out of your snowboard boots. Loaded with comfort and performance features, the Anthem rides hard and feels good doing it.

The big story here is the Boa Coiler System with The Closer technology. The Boa is a reel-type closure system that allows you to get the boot as tight as you want it and release it just as easily, all with gloves on. The Closer is centered over the forefoot and drives lace power down low to provide even pressure all the way down the boot. The Closer also makes lacing faster and much easier. The inner liner uses Lock Down Turbo to make it easier to get the liner tight and simple to release at the end of the day. Speaking of the inner liner, it's an Intuition Plush Foam Liner. That means it's thermo-moldable to fit your foot perfectly and anti-microbial to reduce boot-stink. Ride also included removable external J-bars that allow you to lock your heel down inside the boot while providing added comfort.

Shock absorbing duties are taken care of by Ride's medium-density EVA foam insole, so your next flat landing won't feel so flat. The sole is Ride's Grip, a single-compound rubber sole that provides grip and durability while maintaining light weight. To round out the Anthem, Ride hooked it up with a natural-feeling articulating cuff and a 3D-formed tongue to eliminate shin-bang forever.

  • Mid-stiff feel

Ive heard from a few people that the Boa coiler breaks after a season of use and that this seasons boa has been changed to prevent the occurring problem of it breaking. Is it better to buy last seasons boa boots or this seasons ?

I haven't heard about upgraded Boa systems but just FYI your local boardshop can often fix a broken Boa system for a pretty fair price, assuming it's not totally wrecked.
