Description

Flow down all types of terrain with speed and confidence.

The Ride Berzerker Snowboard gives Jake Blauvelt the stability and float he needs to muscle out giant landings in serious natural terrain. The snappy carbon-infused construction works with the Hybrid All Mountain profile to provide confidence-inspiring control through anything from untracked trees to chundery cornice landings.

  • Hybrid All-Mountain profile uses a floaty rockered nose and grippy, stable micro-camber zone from the front inserts all the way through the tail
  • Carbon Array 3 channels energy from binding zones to contact points for better edge control without dramatically increasing torsional flex
  • Urethane Slimewalls help prevent blowouts and dampen vibration to smooth out the ride
  • Carbon/urethane Pop Rods add ollie and nollie power while also improving dampening
  • Fusion 4000 sintered base for speed and durability

What type of bindings would go on this board? I want to buy this board and the bindings at the same time from this site but I do not see any reference to binding type...please advise.

This board charges hard!

I have last year's Berzerker it is actually my first Ride board. I've been a burton guy for awhile and I've always ridden traditional camber boards. I'm a freerider at heart and I look for boards that are going to provide a technical ride for the trees/steeps and can handle top speed on the groomers. In the past I've ridden Burton's Vapor, Custom X, Supermodel X to name a few. I loved those boards because they were super stiff and responsive, but the only complaint I had was they are a serious workout on the legs due to the stiffness.

The Berzerker has provided the perfect balance for all mountain free riding. It's stiff enough to charge anything, has great float in the deep snow, you can really work the flex for more of a freestyle ride when you want, and the board holds an edge with the best of them. I love this board and I highly recommend!

Dialed in Performance!

This is my first non-traditional camber board. The Berserker still has a good amount of camber thru most of the board tho, so easy transition for me. I've been riding for 25yrs and like to ride smooth and hard - this board makes it easy to do that. The rocker in the nose has kept me surfing on 2ft heavy pow days, and it mows down crud and variable stuff like a champ. I would say the nose rocker/flex is spot on - doesn't fold up when it hits chunky stuff , but gives enough to not throw you off line. The pop-rods seem to work too- if you lean into the nose, you get good energy back.
While not overly cambered, this board is fairly stiff so if you like a board with a soft, forgiving tail you might want to look elsewhere. Personally I like it, and there has only been a couple of occasions in hard bumps where I have thought it might not suit everybody ;) Rides switch better than any board I've had to date, but it is def more of a hard-charging board more than it is a gib-stick. Fast as you want, but still sweet making tight turns in the trees.
I hot waxed it three times in the first three weeks and I've been gliding past everybody - skiers included!
The graphics are sick!!! I keep noticing new shit - like the wood core being visible in a couple of places. This board is quality, and a steal at $299, but if you are not an experienced and/or hard-charging rider, you might be better off on something with more rocker.
Personally, I'm stoked with this board and think it will only get better as it loosens up. Can't wait for next season ;))

This board is great!

I came from an arbor board that I struggled with for a few years. This board turns so well and rides awesome. Made me a stronger boarder!

Super fun deck!

First off I just want to mention that I have last year's Berzerker, I don't believe Ride changed anything from last year's 'Zerker to this year's (other than the graphics).

Two years back I bought the original Ride Highlife. It was pretty much my main board all season long, from hiking Cowboy Ridge at Stevens Pass to park laps at Breckenridge and everything in between. I really enjoyed the board, but felt like something was missing. It was a nice stiff board, but almost felt too "dead" sometimes. Not quite playful enough for my liking. Enter the Berzerker.

Taking the original Highlife, Ride softened it up a little bit, added a bit of camber between the bindings, and gave it an awesomely aggressive sidecut. The result is exactly what I would have wanted out of the original Highlife. Super fun and playful, great board feel, and great pop. Floats great in powder. I absolutely love the sidecut on this deck. The board loves to be on an edge and is very very quick edge to edge. Very precise control on this deck.

I ride this deck with my Ride Capo bindings. Great combo IMHO.

Very well done, Ride. I highly approve.

Super fun deck!

Good review and was interested to hear from someone who has the Highlife. Anyone out there have the highlife UL and can to real world comparison?

Aggressive with a hint of play

I really have to say this is one of the most versatile boards i've ridden. Plows through any terrain especially powder, but playful enough to really express your riding. This is not a tank, this board is finesse with an attitude.

Have some fun this winter!! Go Snow!!

don't buy ride boards

I bought broke my berzerker in 3 feet of powder last year and ride basically told me to get lost when i called a rep about a warranty claim. The board was only 2 months old what a waste of $500. I bought an attack banana fun board go burton or lib tech f ride!
