Ride Contraband Snowboard Binding - 2010
The Ride Contraband Snowboard Binding’s one-piece strap design reduces overall weight and boosts your lateral mobility for easier grabs and presses. Challenge your friends to a shifty contest and watch them weep in hopeless despair at your superior range of motion.
- Balance Core Ankle Strap w/ attached V-Strap uses a single-ratchet design for lighter weight, faster strap-in time, and optimal side-to-side flex
- Wedgie 2.5 angled footbeds increase ollie power and reduce knee strain associated with wide stances
- Urethane Rollbar basepads dampen vibrations and reduce topsheet damage
- ComfortFlex highback blends support and flex for all-day comfort
Bottom Line: Quadruple-shifty half-cabs…GO!

These bindings help the medicine go down. Umbrella optional.

seriously? you need to set up the bindings as illustrated by the manufacturer. it only takes a few minutes. stop hatn' because you didn't set them up correctly.
there is no other way to lock the boot into the binding as the contrabands do. they are rock solid. with the v-strap, it not only secures you toe to the bottom plate of the binding but is also locks the heel securely into the heel cup.
this is the biggest benefit in my book - aside from their uber light weight. with the heel securely pulled into the heel cup, i don't need to tighten the ankle strap as tight. i can leave it slightly loose for better lateral movement. a very good design.
i am on my third season with mine and just ordered another pair for my other board.
never going back to two-strap bindings.

I agree w/ Troy. Watch the setup on YouTube and get your gear straight. These bindings are the best I've ever owned.

THESE BINDINGS are NOT GOOD...
i truly dislike, the foot moves around too much and nothing holds TIGHT.
I picked up some flow NXT-AT-SE's and these things ROCK!..extremely tweeky and respnosive..
Personally, i would stay away from the Ride Contrabands
