Everything you need to know to get your Contrabands correctly with your boots.
too small..

have not tested these out yet just bought them to get ready for next season, but my mistake was buying them size 9-11, im boot size 11 but even though it says 9-11 your boot will be too big on these. you would either have too much heel-drag or the v-strap wont be centered. so i had to exchange to 11-13 size binding. i did hook them up to my lib-tech and these bindings do add some extra pop especially when you have the 2.5 wedgie they are light and have massive hold on to your boot without any pressure points. i recommend them.make sure you get the right size.
Will these get onto a Sierra Crew ok?

Set them up right

Spend the time to set this up right and you will love them. They are extremly comfortable, light and responsive (metal baseplate and chasis). The only downfall is that the metal baseplate can freeze up with ice but that is out weighed by the response and board control it provides.

How are the flex on these bindings? are they too soft or are they just right?
Dakka

The answer you hate to hear: Preference. They are fairly soft though-perfect for park riding. Flex is nice and even and can still accommodate for the pop you need to mail it... I mean send it.
P.S., If you need a slighter stiffer binding, check the Ride Delta, you'll lose the V-Strap though.

I've got a pair of DC rogans Size 9 Should i go with the small 7-9's or the med: 9-11's ?

I would say go with the mediums. The toe strap runs just a little small and may not fit your boot right if you go with the small.
takp509607

hey i dont think they have smalls, usually the 7-9 range is medium, 9-11 large, and 11-13 xlarge.

will these bindings work with the burton hero deck (est) if i get the retro discs?

The retro disc is made for non-EST burton bindings. You might find that it won't fit your Contrabands. When in doubt, go to a shop!
Best Freestyle Binding Out There!!!

There are the best freestyle bindings I have ever come across! The hold you foot in good with out the added pressure that a two strap binding can put on your foot. Super comfy bindings! The wedgie's really do give you that added pop when you need it. Super durable bindings, aluminum chaasy keeps it strong and lightweight. These bindings weigh about 1.0 pound each roughly. I have two pairs of these and love them both!!! If you are looking for a good freestyle/all mountain binding then this is the binding for you. You won't be disapointed! GET THEM!!!

I received these mid season this year and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I mean I had high hopes because they were Ride, but the performance is great on these. They have a lot of support, but they also provide some good flex for us park rats. I will say that they unstrapped a bit hard at first, but they are getting better each time I use them. As always dogfunk and ride deliver. Awesome bindings. Pick up a pair
Quicker than traditional

I purchased this pair because the other contrabands are known for having the webbing come off. They are extremely annoying for setting up. I finally have them fitting perfect by my 3rd try using them. I think I might try Flow bindings next time, but for now they definitely lock in my toes and heels great. I would say they are a small step up form traditional bindings.
Ride Not So Stiff!

I found these bindings to be very flexible in EVERY direction, which to me was a great disappointment. It felt like i was going to tweak my ankle at any time.
I thought the Binding plate was a terrible design as it didn't grip properly and allowed the binding to slide left and right over riding time.

How would these work with womens size 9 thirtytwo prions and burton emeralds? I was thinking about getting the smalls.

they may work okay, but I would highly recommend sticking with a woman's binding. The highbacks on women's bindings tend to be lower and wider, that is because a woman's calf muscle tends to be wider, and come lower on the leg. the opposite for a man. Just something to think about

They have womens contrabands. They are called Bandita contrabands and they are the same basic design, but as Technomis said, they are made to fit women. This will help a lot more for matching binding and boot sizes together also.

These bindings are fantastic. After riding the V-Strap for a few seasons, I don't think I could ever go back to traditional (two strap) bindings. It is easy and fast to strap in and out of these. They are super comfortable and keep your feet in place without creating pressure points (no matter how much you ratchet them down). If you're thinking about getting a pair, don't hesitate! They won't let you down.
Awesome, but you may need help

The strap is super comfy, as are the highback, toe strap and foot bed. The only pressure point I have is at my "6th toe" where the boot touches the wing on the outside and the pressure is very slight. It probably wouldn't even be there if my boots weren't soft and narrow. In fact, thanks to the canted footbeds, the outsides of my feet have never felt this good. They ride great.
I don't know of any other binding that is that soft and forgiving, yet responsive and stable. Great for the park and great if you like taking a freestyle feel to every inch of the mountain.
Once you use the 2.5 degree canted footbeds, you can't go back! You can ride a wide stance with all of the benefits and none of the drawbacks and they help you ollie with less effort.
The one other thing to mention is the adjustability. You can adjust the width, length and tightness of the Y-toe strap, the heel cup and the highback rotation. The only catch is that you MUST properly adjust the Y strap and heel cup to make them work. Either you need to be really good at adjusting or read the instructions (As they say, "when all else fails, read the instructions"). If you do that then they will be perfect every time you crank them down.

Yo so I'm thinkin about snagging a pair of these this year.Anyone have any experience on how well these things hold up on the bigger park booters?
Christian DeHaas

These are honestly the sickest bindings I have ever used. I have two pairs for both my boards and love them both! The hold you feet in good, well... If you like flexy bindings like me. These bindings have excellent padding and the extension piece helps to keep your foot in all the better. The only downside I can see to these bindings is that they take a while to set up. It took me about half an hour to set mine up to my boots and mount them. But in the long run they are worth it. GET THEM!!! They will definitely hold up on anything you can find.
