Few issues, but easily fixed.
First time for me with the Boa lacing system. Had to respool both bottem boa's to get them to release properly, only 3 screws so wasn't that big of a pain. Other than that after a break in period, 4 days on the hill, these boots are comfortable and easy to adjust for a tight fit. Just used em for a day of snowcat tours and they performed superbly. If they could just get the factroy workers to spool em correctly would have been a 5 star review.
This is a great all-mountain boot. Medium flex and stiffness. Cush lining. Embedded J-bars that eliminate heel lift. I have a narrow foot and thin ankles, and these fit perfect. I got them heat-molded at Vail and the break in period was 3 runs. Easy and fast adjustments with one or 2 cranks of the boa system. No pressure points whatsoever. I went from Burton Ions to these and I can say the Boa system is quicker and more effective. A SICK boot. RIDE's top of the line boot at an incredible price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
does it size the same as other ride boots?...
does it size the same as other ride boots?
Yes and no, it's a new boot but it will be
Ride Crew Double Boa
For me this boot seems to run a little small, especially in the toe area. Great boot though. Really well made, and close attention to detail. This boot is sure to last! It has great stiffness laterally, and good forward flex. Love it!
