If you can't have Nico Droz's skill, at least you can have his board—the Ride DH.
You'll find the Ride DH Snowboard strapped to the feet of Nico Droz while he's 15 feet above the lip in the pipe, stomping backcountry booters, and sliding rails. Why is the DH his freestyle deck of choice? First of all, urethane in the DH snowboard's sidewalls and core eliminate vibration to provide a smooth ride down rails or on the run-in to a huge gap jump. Second, an array of carbon under the bindings transfers all of Nico's energy to the board's contact point for vice-like edge hold while climbing pipe walls. Finally, if Nico lands too low on the transition and loses a bit of speed, he can count on the DH snowboard's Fusion 4000 base to get him to the other wall and the Response tuned core to lend him extra pop, allowing him to squeeze in another trick.

155 is stezzzalicious
got 2 awesome sessions on my new jew, n couldn't ask for more. pop is great, flex is perfect, n shreds like a steak knife
Deck for all around riding. Not too stiff but not too soft. Torsionally great. laterally great. Great in powder, great in the park.
Sidecut is slow, but meant for jibbing and jumping more so than carving hard.
SICK SICK SICK!!
This board is super super sick!! It has amazing butter for nosepressin' that shi*, but still has awesome pop. The other dope thing about this board is how it's so much smoother than anything I've ever ridden!! Landing backseat off a 50 footer almost feels like landing in pow. Super smooth, super buttery, and sick as hel*.
Back and ready to hit the runs
I have to say that my sales rep Kyle was very informative and super helpful. I've been riding the same K2 Fatbob for almost 10 years and have been out of the loop as to what type of board I should ride. Kyle took the time and walked me through my options and figured that the Ride DH 159 was my best choice. He was right! Took it out on my first run and it's off the hook. Much better for the park, but still can keep up on the fast runs and quick turns. The Ride DH makes riding switch much easier as well...very easily controllable board. The was my first shopping experience with Backcountry and I'm hooked!
board is dank!!
ILL BOARD!! SWITCHED FROM AN ATOMIC TO THIS RIDE AND HAPPY I DID CUZ ITS INSANE. FLEXES IN ALL THE RIGHT PLACES, FEELS GREAT IN THE PARK WHILE STILL HOLDIN ITS OWN FLOATIN OVER ILL JUMPS.. HIGHLY RECOMENDED BOARD FOR ALL TYPES OF RIDERS
Love the DH so far have the 151 as probably is apparent responds well has good edge ... great pressure points for jibbing ... easy to control in the air super lightweight ... i can still throw down a lofty cork spin in the park and then go urban jibb at night with this board. The slime-walls are sick most impact isn't felt throughout the legs helps keep me fresh all day while I ride ... already landed two first places with this board one in the early season when I first got it and just last weekend ... I look forward to killing it some more with this board
I don't know about this one...
I bought the 06/07 model in a 151 at a preseason sale in october. I've only used it a grand total of 3-4 times and already the steel edge on my toe edge has cracked/broken in two spots. I don't know if it was a company defect but on the ride site my warranty specifically does not cover cracked steel edges. I think the board has a great feel and is very comfortable on rails/boxes and on jumps. I take good care decks. I'm not abusive on them or anything so I'm not sure where I went wrong. Maybe it's the slimewalls? No clue.
this is it
i got the last years model of this board brand new at the end of last year and ive rode it 10 times already all day and ive learned so many things on it the pop is amazing the slime walls help me not catch an edge and the twin tip is so curved that i can do presses and butters with ease ,, this board is it
RiDe dH 157
The dH is overall a killer board. It has great pop and the flex is also good where you want it. Awesome fun jus messin around. the 85A slimewall gives it ill feel.
Fun deck, I was stoked to ride the 159 at a Demo back in February. Board has a great medium flex to it, not stiff, but not soft either. It is perfect for sliding rails and boxes and has great snap for popping off of kickers.
I love the 85a slimewall on the board, the dampening it provides the board is great! You don't feel all the chatter/vibration that you normally get in the park. I held up great as I took the sidewall into a couple of boxes pretty hard and there wasn't a mark on it. The feel is just amazing too, you can really feel how your edges are responding and spinning is so much smoother that I normally feel.
I have 10.5 boots and had no issues mounting up on the 159 at all. Great board to slay the park with and was fun to dork around with on the trail on the way to the terrain park.
