Park style in a light, comfy boot.
Ride collaborated with JB Classics Lab to bring tight style to the Men's FUL Snowboard Boot. Since sweet-lookin' freestyle boots have to do a lot more than just look good, Ride gave these super lightweight snowboard boots a Secure Fit Harness, Lock Down Speed Lace, and a molded liner. What the ballz do those things mean? The Harness wraps the instep (ankle and forefoot) of the FUL boot and uses locking J-bars around the heel to secure your ankle so your foot won't slip, and the heated liner material matches the shape of the interior shell so it fills gaps and uses less material (shorter, lighter boot). For the laces, just pull them tight, snap the lock in place, and pull once more to take out any extra slack.

Do these fit larger or smaller than the Burton hail
about the same.
These fit much smaller than the hail. The FUL's do a really good job at reducing bulk. Ride claims you can reduce your footprint down a half to full size.
These boots are amazing. While offering plenty of comfort and flex hiking up to reslay that kicker, they're a snug fit, so you'll have to take care when removing them after a long day of riding. I experienced virtually no heel lift with these after getting them appropriately tightened down. The Lock Down Speed Lace mechanism at first seemed flimsy and likely to break, but it held up fine and resulted in an amazing fit surrounding the ankles. I also suspected that as a sacrifice for weight and comfort these boots would be a little thin, possibly meaning cold wet feet by the end of the day...well, this turned out not to be the case. They're super warm, made from quality materials, and kept my feet toasty each day on the slopes. I cannot stress how unbelievably comfortable these boots are - not to mention they're lightweight, meaning you can pretty much fly all day. Excellent for wide-range of applications - ride n style.
be wary of these boots
I bought a pair of these boots for 08 season and they developed large holes on the inside ankle area within 7 days riding. The distributor would not exchange on warranty, but instead decided to put some dodgy leather patches over the holes. So my fresh boots now look like a kids craft project. Contacted Ride directly, who have been ignoring my emails. They get 2 points for comfort, but the material is not likely to last you very long. Stay away.

is it really light weight? is it lighter than a burton shaun white or hail? thanks :)
Yes it is this....this boot is lighter and just as supportive.
Not just a Freestyle boot
The FUL is back for it's 2nd year and has some great improvements over last season.
Ride has upgraded the Intuition liner with a foot bed. So now you get the great 100% heat moldable liner with the support of a foot bed to make the boot even more comfortable.
The "support rod" in the back of the boot now extends higher giving you a much better heel side response when carving down the mountain. The boot over all is about a 6 out of 10 in flex.
Ride boots are very true to size, I normally wear a 10-10.5 in my boots and I ended up in a 10 in the FUL. Yes, my first 6-10 days on the hill weren't the best. But the liner packs out about a 1/4 of a size over those first 10 days on the mountain and they end up being absolutely perfect after that.
I loved riding this boot all over the mountain, my feet stayed warm, dry and comfortable every day I rode them.
